Abuse Policy
DAS Short is committed to providing a safe, reliable, and responsible URL shortening platform. This Abuse Policy explains prohibited activities, how abuse can be reported, and the actions we may take when violations are identified.
By using DAS Short, you agree not to use our services for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.

2. Spam and Misuse
The following activities are prohibited:
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages containing DAS Short links.
- Using automated tools to create links excessively or abuse platform resources.
- Manipulating clicks, views, advertisements, analytics, or publisher earnings.
- Generating artificial traffic through bots, click farms, or deceptive methods.

3. Phishing and Malicious Links
DAS Short links must not be used to steal passwords, payment information, personal data, authentication codes, or other confidential information. Links that distribute malicious files or facilitate unauthorized access may be blocked or disabled.
Users should verify the destination of an unfamiliar shortened link before opening it. A shortened URL does not guarantee that its destination is safe or endorsed by DAS Short.
4. Advertising and Monetization Abuse
Users participating in advertising, publisher revenue sharing, or referral programs must follow the applicable program rules. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Artificially increasing advertising impressions, clicks, or conversions.
- Using bots, automated browsing, or incentivized traffic where prohibited.
- Misrepresenting traffic sources, audience locations, or engagement metrics.
- Creating misleading advertisements or disguising advertisements as system notices.
- Attempting to obtain payments or rewards through fraudulent activity.
Suspected invalid activity may result in a review of affected traffic, earnings, campaigns, or accounts, subject to applicable terms and laws.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you discover a DAS Short link that you believe violates this policy, please report it through our Contact page. Include as much relevant information as possible:
- The complete DAS Short URL.
- The destination URL, if it can be identified safely.
- A description of the suspected abuse or violation.
- Supporting evidence, such as screenshots or relevant timestamps.
- Your contact details, if you would like us to follow up.
Do not download suspicious files or provide passwords, verification codes, or other sensitive information when reporting abuse.
6. Investigation and Enforcement
We may review reported links, account activity, traffic patterns, and other relevant information to investigate suspected violations. Depending on the circumstances, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Restrict, disable, or remove an abusive shortened link.
- Display a warning or restrict access to certain features.
- Temporarily suspend or permanently terminate an account.
- Restrict API access or automated link creation.
- Withhold, adjust, or cancel earnings associated with confirmed invalid activity, where permitted by applicable terms and law.
- Preserve relevant records or report suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities when legally required or permitted.
Enforcement decisions may consider the seriousness of the violation, potential harm, available evidence, and whether the conduct is repeated. We may act without prior notice when necessary to protect users, the platform, or the public.
7. Repeat Violations and Appeals
Repeated or serious violations may result in longer restrictions or permanent account termination. If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, contact us through our Contact page and provide your account details and the reason for your appeal.
Appeals are reviewed where appropriate, but submitting an appeal does not guarantee restoration of a link, account, or earnings.
8. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe a link facilitates copyright infringement or other intellectual property violations, contact us with the relevant URL, identification of the protected work, a description of the alleged infringement, and information reasonably necessary to assess your claim.
We may request additional information before taking action. Formal legal notices should include all information required by applicable law.
9. Third-Party Websites
DAS Short may shorten links to websites and services operated by third parties. We do not control or endorse every external destination and are not responsible for the content, security, availability, or practices of third-party websites.
Reporting a suspicious destination helps us assess whether the related shortened link violates this policy.
10. Privacy and Abuse Prevention
We may process relevant technical information, link activity, and account records to investigate abuse, protect the platform, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Such processing is subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this Abuse Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, security practices, or legal obligations. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
