What is DAS Short?
DAS Short is a URL shortening platform that lets you create clean, short and trackable links. Depending on your account and available features, you can also manage links, view analytics and use monetization features.
How do I shorten a URL?
Enter your destination URL on the DAS Short homepage and select Shorten URL. Available options can be configured before creating the short link.
Can I create a custom alias?
Yes. If custom aliases are enabled, you can choose your preferred short-link name, subject to availability and platform rules.
Can I password protect a short link?
Yes. Supported links can be protected with a password. Visitors must enter the correct password before accessing the destination.
Can I set an expiry date?
Yes. You can set an expiry date for supported links. After the configured expiry time, visitors will see the appropriate expiry page instead of being redirected.
Can I pause or disable my short link?
Yes. Depending on the available controls, a link can be paused or disabled. A paused or disabled link will show its status page instead of redirecting normally.
What does "Link Not Found" mean?
The requested short-link code could not be found. The link may have been deleted, never existed, or the URL may have been entered incorrectly.
Can I generate a QR code?
Yes. A QR code can be generated for supported short links so users can quickly access the shortened URL using a compatible camera or QR scanner.
Can I view analytics for my short links?
